Wythe County Community Hospital Welcomes First Baby 2022

Wythe County Community Hospital is ringing in 2022 with the year’s first bundle of joy. Weighing 7 pounds and 13.2 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches, baby Karson Rain was born to Michelle and Austin, Saturday, January 1, at 4:34 AM.
“Our clinical and support staff are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment for moms and babies,” said Dr. J. Bradley Terry, OB/GYN at Wythe County Community Hospital. “It is one of our great privileges to help our community’s families welcome their newest additions in a positive and memorable way.”
"Our nursing staff here at WCCH Womens Center is committed to giving all of the families entrusted to our care an excellent and memorable experience," said Lisa Johnston, Director of Women’s Center. “"It's a privilege and honor to care for the families in our community as they 'take their first steps with us.”
Wythe County Community Hospital’s Women’s Center is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care close to home for new and expecting parents in the region. Dr. J. Bradley Terry was the attending physician and Dr. Michael Vacco was the attending pediatrician. A gift basket was presented to the mother and baby.
